Kim Na-yeon, a Russian Language and Literature student, won a Public Diplomacy Academic Research Paper Contest
Kim Na-yeon, a student of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, won the Encouragement Award at the 2022 Public Diplomacy Academic Research Paper Contest held in November. She is the only undergraduate among the winners.
The Korea International Exchange Foundation and The Korean Association for Public Diplomacy will conduct a competition to promote interdisciplinary research on public diplomacy, and the panel will comprehensively evaluate and examine academic contributions, practical contributions, and completeness.
Kim Na-yeon won the Encouragement Award for her research paper titled "K-Food as a Pioneer Model of Korea-Russia Culture and Public Diplomacy: Focusing on Creating a Model for Its Sustainability and Practicality."
Kim Na-yeon said, "I want to help raise Korea's international status through K-Food's globalization in the future," adding, "I always thank Professor Kim Sang-hyun for supporting and helping me with my dream."
The award-winning paper is published on The Korean Association for Public Diplomacy's 『The Public Diplomacy: Theory and Practice』.
