Held the first Human Kiwoom at the College of Liberal Arts in 2023 (12th and 13th)
The College of Liberal Arts (Professor Ahn Dae-hoe) held its first human education in 2023 at the Toegye Humanities Hall Trial Festival and Myeongryun Seowon on March 31 (Fri) and April 21 (Fri).
At the 12th Human Kiwoom, Kwon Kyung-joon, a professor of Russian literature, gave a presentation under the theme of "Repeating the same language is repeating the same language." In addition, in the 13th, Professor Lim Kyung-seok of the Department of History, the author of <Independence movement thermoelectric 1,2>, conducted a presentation on the theme of "Independence movement thermoelectric" inside.
Ahn Dae-hoe, the head of the College of Liberal Arts, said in a greeting at the two-day event that he hopes that Human Kiwoom will expand beyond the College of Liberal Arts to a place where researchers from all different academic levels can join.
Therefore, in 2023, he said he would actively encourage the interest and participation of teachers at other academic units as well as liberal arts universities to promote interdisciplinary exchanges among college members.
It also said that it will do its best to expand the scope of exchange as an academic community capable of communication between teachers and establish itself as a beneficial event to gain understanding and insight into other academic fields.
The two-day event was attended by Ahn Dae-hoi, president of the College of Liberal Arts, teachers of more than 10 departments of the College of Liberal Arts, as well as Kwon Young-wook, head of the Sungkyun Convergence Center, and had valuable learning and discussions to promote academic exchange and friendship.
Since the first semester of the 2022 academic community, the College of Liberal Arts has continued to hold Humanities Kiwoom Culture (Growth), a place where academic topics can be discussed without distinction.
Human Kiwoom will be held on various topics at 12:00 on Friday every two to three weeks, and a total of 11 times were held in the lecture room of Toegye Humanities Hall in 2022.
The 14th Human Kiwoom will be held on May 12 (Fri) at Toegye Humanities Hall 31310 Lecture Room (Trial System) based on the theme prepared by Professor Seol Min of Philosophy.
