This course focuses on an understanding of the publishing culture from the pre-modern period to the modern transition period in Korea. It covers the publication and distribution of books and intellectual history. Furthermore, it broadens the understanding of the publishing and cultural history to provide a comparative view of the Sinographic culture of East Asia.
