Not only the universities of the Americas, Western Europe, China, Japan and Taiwan that have led international Korean studies, but students in Eastern Europe, Poland, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Russia, who have lack of support for Korean studies, have participated in KSLEP.
"I was very surprised to see students studying day and night to learn Korean studies and asking sharp questions," an official who organized the event said. "I hope that KSLEP will become a huge change for young Korean scholars at home and abroad who are opening a new horizon for Korean studies."
