This course focuses on better understanding of French realities and heritage through various media. It aims at arising students’ interest in French culture, current events, contemporary French issues as well as relations with other countries. Media contents lead to discussions on various topics surveyed such as community life, behaviors, habits, new tendencies. Through this course, students also improve their comprehension of implicit aspects contained in speech and culture. Media used during the class – including Internet – are mainly TV5Monde, radio RFI, videos, newspapers and magazines.
