This subject aims to understand the theory that forms the academic basis of Korean syntax and the procedure for applying it through an in-depth discussion of the theory establishment and application process of Korean syntax. In particular, based on the research and discussion of syntax, the main task is to develop the ability to interpret syntax by oneself, the ability to solve problems that a researcher have the ability to argument syntactic issue. It improves the perspective and ability of a remarkable researcher to communicate academically by analyzing the theory, knowledge, and scope of application of syntax from a critical perspective and writing research results containing one's own perspective.

This course aims to understand the theory and logic of the Korean dictionary through discussion of the theory and application process of Korean dictionary compilation, and design the micro-structure and macro-structure of dictionary. The Korean dictionary is a collection of all the knowledge expressed in Korean, and the first task is to classify knowledge and organize significant contents. Recently, the process of verifying the contents of a dictionary through a large-scale corpus is also essential, so it is necessary to discuss Korean language information processing. Through this class, students comprehensively understand the system and meaning of lexicography, and abilities and perspectives related to lexicography, thereby increasing research and application skills that connect theory and practice.

‘Korean Digital Narrative Studies’ examines the characteristics of digital media and analyzes the changes in storytelling and communication according to paradigm shifts. This lecture consists of three parts, each four weeks in length. ① Review major theories and research history ranging from mathematical origins of writing to cryptanalysis, information theory, and large language models ② Select problem works for Korean digital narratives (web novels, webtoons, games and OTT content, etc.) Conduct presentations and discussion activities. ③ Develop the above learning and submit the completed thesis.

In this lecture, we will examine the cases of network analysis in digital humanities research and apply network analysis to Korean literature research. Neo4j and Gephi, open source network visualization software, will be used as analysis tools. We will focus on discussions on the nature of data suitable for network analysis, the way of processing data, and effective visualization of connections, and seek ways to effectively visualize Korean literature research in a quantitative aspect.

Due to this, it is challenging to expect 'big data research' in the context of domesticl literary research. Big data from literature cannot be created quickly, but it can be done by creating lovely tiny data over an extended period of time. Additionally, it is crucial to consider a data model that can reflect the features of different genres in the data schema in order to generate sophisticated tiny data. Data modeling is typically classified into three categories. Designing a real object to be conceptually converted to data is known as "conceptual data modeling." 2 "Logical data modeling" is the practice of logically describing a conceptualized model. Applying a logical model to a database is known as "physical data modeling." This lecture will concentrate on the conceptual data modeling method as one of them.
